Blue Spot was originally created in Dublin’s famous Bow Street distillery in 1835. By 1865, The Blue Spot name had been adopted by a number of distilleries and became one of the most recognizable brands in Ireland. Our Blue Spot has been crafted to embody the original spirit, but we’ve given it a new lease of life in 2017 with a contemporary look and feel.

In Ireland, the term “Blue Spot” has long been used by locals to describe a person or thing as being of exceptional character.
