Yamato Whiskey was created by Aiko Importers after realizing that there was an excess of whiskey in the Yamanashi prefecture. They were able to acquire whiskey and develop their small batch brand. It has been an unplanned success, reaching the global market from the shadow of Mt. Fuji. Yamato has the symbols that mean “great harmony” laid boldly on their bottles, a statement of fact for their divine range of whiskies.
